Zack Mayo is a young man who has signed up for Navy Flight School. He is a Navy brat who has a bad attitude problem. Sgt. Foley is there to train and evaluate him and will clearly find Zack wanting. Zack meets Paula, a girl who has little beyond family and must decide what it is he wants to do with his life.

After the murder of his beloved wife, Danny Parker (Val Kilmer) is set adrift in a world where nothing is as it seems. On his journey he befriends slacker Jimmy the Fin (Peter Sarsgaard) and becomes involved in rescuing his neighbor Colette (Debra Kara Unger) from her own demons. Danny is antagonized by undercover narcotics agents (Anthony Lapaglia and Doug Hutchison) and sadistic dealer Pooh Bear (Vincent D’Onfronio).

A rare mutation has occurred within the vampire community. The Reaper. A Neo Nazi skinhead, named Derek Vineyard (Edward Norton) goes to jail for 3 years after committing a murder of 2 black guys. In the meanwhile, his younger brother, Danny Vineyard (Edward Furlong) goes in the same way and makes the same mistakes (racism and hatred) his eldest brother did (this is the result of the Neo Nazi environment he grows up into, and the influence Derek left behind). While Derek is in jail he realize that he choose the wrong path. after coming back from jail, Derek try to convince his brother not to go in his own way.

Rowan plays the eponymous lead character in a spoof spy thriller. During the course of the story we follow our hero as he attempts to single-handedly save the country from falling into the hands of a despot.
